St. Mary’s Parochial School (Model School) –

There are six pupils in Junior Infants this year and we welcome a new pupil to 5th class. The new digital projectors are being used and teachers are coping well with this new technology. The 1st newsletter arrived by email last Friday and is full of interesting and exciting news: The junior room have been very creative by doing some leaf rubbing. They thought
of this technique by thinking of autumn. Andrew and Scott Levie kindly came in on Friday. They taught us a lot about hockey skills.
Bishop Michael came into us last Friday. We asked him a variety of questions. Here is one of them: How do you get leprosy?.
Unfortunately, due to bad weather this week we could not have our ‘Safe Cycling’ day but we will be having it on the 4th of October (Monday week) if weather is suitable. Newsletter prepared by David & Ellen.
