Bishops Appeal –

Thank you to those who supported the Appeal for Pakistan & the Niger.
Our good attendances at the Harvest Thanksgivings means that our
giving towards the normal fund will be good. As the Cahir collection at the Festival Flowers went to the Restoration Fund, the collection at the Carol Service will go to Bishops Appeal.

Paul Mooney, former Archdeacon of Ferns, Bishops Appeal, the Church of Ireland aid agency, Protestant Aid will benefit for this amazing effort. As a result, our bishop doesn’t seem inclined to sing “Come, ye thankful people, come,” at the moment!!! Thank-you to all who supported this effort.

Bishop Michael player “Come ye thankful people, come” on all but one of the organs in our parish. Kilvemnon was not visited as there has been no service in the church for many years and is effectively closed for Public Worship.
Thank-you to those who turned out and sang along. We will be sending our donation towards the three charities who are to benefit form this diocesan effort; Protestant Aid, which assists in helping members of our Church who are in need of finacial assistance, Our diocesan Outreach Project in Soul, South Korea, which assists in the ministry to Anglicans in the that areas by the Ven.
