Our school continues to be a hive activity. We are now into the last term of the academic year and those in 6th class are certainly eagerly awaiting their transition to 2nd Level education. We look forward to hearing the results of the Bishop’s Poster Competition – results are usually given to teachers at their conference with the bishop on Holy Thursday.
The Rector brushed up on her teaching skills with a day subbing in the junior room – all survived the experience!
The pupils took part in a Skipathon on 23rd April.

We have decided to take part in the project of the Jack & Jill Foundation – they collect old and recycle mobile phones and hope to collect enough to enable us to buy an interactive whiteboard – it is a spaceage blackboard that really enables teachers to present lessons in an interactive way aided by a computer. There is a box in Old St. Mary’s – for other congregations, might I suggest you give your contributions to the Rector or a parishioner, bring them to church or drop them into old St. Mary’s when in Clonmel. – we need 500 – we have 70.
