Keeping our Churches open to Visitors –

The churches in our 3 towns are open to visitors while Fás/Tús participants are present; usually on a few mornings per week. We really should try to ensure that they are open during business hours. I sat in Old St Mary’s on a small number of days during July/August for a few hours and was astounded at how many people came in. There are a number of reasons why this should be: so that people can just visit, spend some quiet time there, pray and make it part of their vacation. Donations from these visits would also help. Volunteers, plese, to put rotas in place from next Easter onwards, at least!
