Harvest Thanksgivings – Tullaghmeelan, Sunday, 13th

Our thanks goes
to the Rev Peter Tarleton who preached in Holy Trinity, Fethard on 15th
September. Thank-you, also, to thsoe who provided the decorations, fantastic
supper and to David who payed the organ.
The Rector of Castlecomer, the Rev Patrick Burke
preashed in St Paul's, Cahir. Thank-you to the decorators and readers and to Dr
David and Maureen Ahearne's Choral Society who provided a wonderful musical
element to the worship.
The Dean of Waterford, the Very Rev Maria Jansson preached an inspiring sermon in Old St
Mary's. Once again, Dr Butler played the organ. Thank-you to him, to the
schoolchildren for their excellent rendition of “First & Last”, the
decorators and the parents & parishioners for the amazing hospitality
afterwards. The schoolchildren, as usual, completed the decorations at the
beginning of the Service when they brought their gifts and placed them on the
altar steps and they took those offerings to Mariancourt on Monday for the use
of the residents.
