Walled Town Day Clonmel

Clonmel – Walled Town Day is celebrated as part of Festival Cluain Meala from
26th – 28th August 2011 – the programme will be:-

Friday, 26th –7.00pm – Concert by Miceal O’Suilleaban & Banna Cluain Meala
In Old St. Mary’s followed by
9.00pm – Leaving Old St Mary’s and following a route, visiting 5
“alehouses” to be entertained by storytellers, comedians and
Music, this medieval walk should provide a further educational
& fun time – both events are free!!
Sat, 27th - 6.00pm - A dramatised recollection of the Siege of Clonmel
7.00pm- Medieval Banquet in Gordon Place carpark complete with
archery, jousting, music and other medieval delights – Banquet €25
per head – tickets from museum or Rector.
Sunday, 28th - 2-5pm – A Festival of Food, Crafts and Music in the Sarsfield Street
area of town
