Planning your Wedding at one of the Churches within Clonmel Union of Parishes

Wedding Planning Booklets outlining the procedures necessary to planning a wedding in our churches are being placed in each of our churches – please feel free to take one.

 

You should contact the Rector as soon as you wish to set a date of your wedding so as to check the availability of the church you may wish to use.

Only the Rector of Clonmel Union of Parishes may confirm a date as being available for a service to be held at any of the Church locations within the Clonmel Union of Parishes.

The church availability should be checked with the Rector before booking (and entering a contract with) a hotel so as to avoid any upset to your plans should you discover subsequently that either the Location or the Rector is not available on your preplanned date.

In the case of inter-Church weddings, you should contact the clergy from the two religious communities involved in the marriage. It will be necessary to have a chat with both clergy before making the final decision
